The Sheet Metal Workers Local 28 Retirees' Club was formed on October 23, 1991 and is chartered by the SMWIA. There are currently over 270 members living in the New York metropolitan area and beyond. The Retirees' Club is a fraternal and social organization that encourages all Local 28 retirees to join. We strive to keep members informed about all issues pertinent to Local 28 and its retirees through monthly meetings and newsletters. We also host special events throughout the year, including golf outings, a summer picnic, and a holiday party.
